If you’re firmly set in your ways when it comes to shirt releases, you’ll be thrilled to see the return of Lyon’s famous vertical stripe.
Down the years we’ve seen it donned by cult heroes like Sidney Govou, Sonny Anderson and of course free-kick extraordinaire Juninho Pernambucano.
Well now it’s back, and not a moment too soon if you ask us.

The lion, symbol of the club and city, features throughout the stripe too, faintly stamped into the background making for a lovely subtle addition.
The rest of it is kept pretty straightforward, bringing about a welcome elegance to the whole thing that we can fully get on board with.

As part of adidas’ sustainability push, the new strip is made using Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials.
