BBC and ITV confirm TV schedule for Euro 2020 last 16 games

BBC and ITV have confirmed their respective TV schedules as we gear up for the Round of 16 at Euro 2020.

The group stage of this year’s Euros has been and gone in the blink of an eye and now, we’re left with 16 nations battling it out for the right to be called European champions.

It’s been a sensational tournament up to this point and along the way, we’ve been enjoying the action across BBC One, ITV1, BBC Two and ITV4.

That will continue heading into the knockout stage with both broadcasters confirming the games that they’ll be covering over the next five days.

It certainly seems like there’s a fairly even divide between both BBC and ITV with the two most intriguing Round of 16 games, England vs Germany and Belgium vs Portugal, being spread between the rivals.

Teams are currently being afforded the first real opportunity to catch their breath, with a break today and tomorrow, before things get underway once again this weekend. After 94 goals, with an average of 2.62 per match so far, we’ve definitely not been starved of action.

There had been concerns that the Euros being spread across the entire continent could create some chaos but up to this point, things seem to have gone fairly smoothly.

Euro 2020 will resume with a fascinating encounter between Wales and Denmark this Saturday in Amsterdam.
