Three-time Mr Universe winner Calum von Moger is in a stable condition in hospital after jumping out of a window.
The 31-year-old has undergone surgery for a severe spine injury after the fall from a height of two storeys on May 6.
We currently don’t know why the tragic incident occurred. However, this is just the latest setback that the weight lifter has had to endure.

Calum von Moger has been through a lot recently
In a difficult period, the Australian, once considered the next Arnold Schwarzenegger, has suffered a knee and bicep injury that rendered him incapacitated for a year, and lost his California home in a fire.
Earlier this year, he allegedly rammed his car into another vehicle before chasing the driver with a machete. As per The Daily Mail, upon inspection, the police found Von Moger in possession of cannabis, meth and testosterone.
He received a charge of criminal affray and drug possession. Then he was kicked out of his family home. But those close to him said he was most affected by the loss of his beloved English bull terrier, Rex.
The strongman explained the saddening story during a YouTube video.
He said: “I left the house for 20 minutes to go to the store, and I guess he got into one of the rooms, and there was a bag of chips, and he choked on a chip. I came back, looked for him and found him on the floor with his head in the chip bag – I thought it was a bad joke, and then I went down, and I couldn’t do anything.”
Von Moger desperately tried to perform CPR before taking Rex to the vet, but there was nothing they could do. To make matters worse, this occurred just a few weeks after he lost his rescue dragon lizard, Baz. The reptile passed away during a three-day power outage, proceeded by heavy snowfall.
Emotional Instagram post
Last week Von Moger took to Instagram to release an emotional message.
Moger said: “Everyone has a past. We’ve all been through hard times. I admit. I messed up bad many times. But I don’t care about dwelling on negative thoughts of the past. All I care about is that I learn from my mistakes and become a better person. I’m trying my hardest to stay strong, but I have my days too.”
