Christian Eriksen has made a monumental impact at Old Trafford throughout the season. But for now, Erik ten Hag will have to find a way to make his side tick without the Danish international.
While Saturday marked a big win for Manchester United in the fourth round of the FA Cup, fans were rendered devastated when their playmaker hit the ground. Following a challenge from Andy Carroll, the 30-year-old had to leave the pitch on crutches.
After nearly losing his life at the 2020 European Championships, Eriksen’s blown fans away with his incredible resilience. Through sheer belief and determination, he’s made a full recovery, establishing himself as one of the best playmakers in Europe. The composed operator’s dazzled spectators at the Theatre of Dreams, recording seven assists in his 19 Premier League appearances.
But sadly, for now, his momentum has come to a halt.

Manchester United reveal whether Christian Eriksen will play again this season
In a statement via their website, the club confirmed: “While investigations are continuing, initial assessments indicate that Eriksen is likely to be out until late April or early May.
“The 30-year-old’s absence will be a big disappointment to manager Erik ten Hag and fans, given the consistency of his performances throughout the season so far, making 31 appearances since arriving at Old Trafford.”
It continued: “However, there is hope that Christian can return in time to play a role in the final stages of the campaign.
“We all wish Christian the best of luck for a speedy recovery.”
