While Villa produced an array of epic solo displays, his ability to fit into a team knew no bounds. At Barcelona, he exuded passion for the badge, often linking up with Lionel Messi to give the fans memories that will last a lifetime.
On this occasion, with his side already 2-0 up against Real Madrid, he picked up on a pass from the Argentinian, snuck past Pepe and slotted the ball past Iker Casillas.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the Champions League Final is the biggest game in club football, capturing the attention of sports enthusiasts from every corner of the planet.
Unsurprisingly, the pressure generated on such a grand stage is enough to break the confidence of any normal human being, but not Villa — he was made for big occasions.
In a crunch collision with Manchester United, he awaited the ball on the edge of the box, calmly took a touch, before sending it hurtling past Edwin van der Sar, to send his adoring supporters into raptures.

While Villa could fire the ball with the force of a horse kicking, he had much more to his game than mere power shots. During a game against Real Betis, he utilised his silky footwork to leave his man in the dust before chipping the ball over the shot-stopper.

Getting the better of Sergio Ramos is no easy task, but Villa did it with ease. Showcasing his brilliance, the striker cut to the right of the esteemed defender, before curling the ball past a helpless Casillas, who, despite previously being his national teammate, must really hate him.
The awe-inspiring finish helped Barca bag yet another Spanish Super Cup.

Throughout this article, we’ve given you a plethora of Villa’s greatest goals. However, this next one is the best of the bunch. After collecting the ball from Messi, he pulled a defender towards him, before firing an almost Unbelievable left-footed curler past Javi Varas.
