In front of a raucous crowd at the Parc Des Princes, the 20-year-old more than made his mark in the first leg of his club’s Champions League quarter-final.

Tonight, PSG wanted to hit the ground running against Liverpool. And that’s exactly what they did. After just 11 minutes, the home side took the lead thanks to an excellent strike from Desire Doue.

The prospect effortlessly beat the defenders attempting to take the ball off him before finessing his shot with power and precision. The velocity of the kick, combined with a slight defection, left Giorgi Mamardashvili with, in the eyes of Ally McCoist, ‘absolutely no chance’.

The marvellous goal caught the attention of football fans around the globe, with many heading to social media to praise the Frenchman.
