Massimo Ambrosini was a truly sensational player, renowned for his sublime passing ability and leadership skills. However, even he confesses that relieving Zinedine Zidane of the football was an extremely difficult task.

When asked about what it was like to go head-to-head with the World Cup winner during an exclusive interview with Sporf, via BetVictor Casino, the former AC Milan captain confessed: “He was the best I played against. Do you know why? It was because he was so strong that getting the ball off him was impossible. He has personality, technical skills, he’s unbelievable. If you faced him, you never knew what was going to happen or what decision he was going to make. He’s one of the best, of course.”
