Harry Kane scores his 50th Champions League goal
Last week, Bayern Munich travelled to away territory and absolutely destroyed Atalanta 6-1 in a destructive performance at The New Balance Arena in Bergamo, Italy.
Tonight, the German giants continued to dominate, cruising to another sensational victory, winning 4-1, to secure an overall aggregate result of 10-2.
Not only was it a big performance for the team as a whole, but for Harry Kane in particular, who scored his 50th Champions League goal. And it wasn’t just any old finish.
Somehow, with his back towards the goal, and two defenders all over him, he managed to use his immense footwork to turn his position, take the ball past them, and fire a shot with ferocious power, rendering Marco Sportiello helpless.
He’s the first-ever English player to reach the half-century in Europe’s premier tournament.
