Manchester United is reportedly taking the side of Erik ten Hag amidst his feud with Jadon Sancho.
Following the side’s loss to Arsenal, the manager said he left out the player due to his “poor performances in training.”
These comments aggravated Sancho, who took to social media to claim that his gaffer had used him as a ‘scapegoat’.
While United have chosen not to make a statement, as per The Guardian, the youngster is facing disciplinary action.
Allegedly, the beef is heating up, with Ten Hag getting so aggravated by Sancho’s training standard, that he selected academy prospects Hannibal Mejbri (20) and Dan Gore (18) on the substitutes’ bench ahead of the 23-year-old on Sunday.
In October, the Manchester club’s manager gave Sancho some time away from the squad to overcome physical and mental issues. Upon his return, he received coaches selected from the Netherlands to try and get him back in the swing of things.
He returned to the squad with a bang, hitting the back of the net against Leeds in February. However, he’s struggled to put everything together since, scoring just three goals in 25 appearances since.
He’s yet to start a game this campaign.

Since his arrival at Old Trafford, Ten Hag has proven that he’s more than willing to put his players on blast. Despite his remarkable legacy, as soon as he started to cause problems, Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at the club came to an end. In addition, he had no problem stripping Harry Maguire of his captaincy and recently released club legend David De Gea.
Even Marcus Rashford felt the wrath when he turned up late to a team meeting in December and consequently found himself on the bench against Wolves.
And now Sancho is getting the brunt.
