Jake Paul has confirmed that he’d like to fight a “real” boxer in his next outing – with Tommy Fury being the prime target.
After seeing off the challenge of Tyron Woodley last month to take his pro boxing record to 4-0, many wondered what would come next for Jake Paul. Some suspected it could be retirement and a shift back over to YouTube, whereas others were of the belief that he’d try and take things up a notch in terms of his competition.
Will we see Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury?
Rumours have been circulating as to who he’d square off against next with Tommy Fury being a man who interacted with “The Problem Child” during the Woodley fight week. Now, with the world watching, it appears as if Paul is ready to make it happen – as he confirmed during a recent podcast appearance.
“I wanna fight a real boxer. We’ll see what the cards have in store.
“I think Tommy Fury is probably at the top of that list.

“He’s skilled, he’s undefeated and he’s a real boxer. He has 4million followers on Instagram, which is good engagement.
“He has the fans from his relationship thing – they fell in love on a show.
“Tommy Fury – this guy comes from a legendary boxing bloodline. He’s undefeated and he’s the same height as me, same age approximately.
“And I’m sitting here saying, ‘Yo, let’s run it up.’”
Based on the social media reach of both men, we’d say this has the potential to be a pretty solid PPV event someday.
