Lawrence Okolie says Jake Paul shocked him in sparring

In the eyes of many, Jake Paul has absolutely no chance whatsoever in his showdown against Anthony Joshua later tonight. After all, ‘AJ’ is a 6ft6 wrecking machine, capable of rendering any man on the planet unconscious with just a single shot.

However, after sharing rounds with the YouTuber inside the gym, Lawrence Okolie is confident that the underdog has a chance of upsetting the apple cart.

In an exclusive interview with Sporf, he explained: “It depends on if Jake can do what he’s been doing in the gym. If he can, then it’s an interesting fight. It’s going to be exciting. It’s going to shock people because I was shocked with the sparring myself. If he’s able to deliver the same kind of energy on fight night, it will be entertaining.”
