Jimmy Uso names the wrestler most likely to join the Bloodline next

One half of the reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Jimmy Uso, has named the WWE Superstar who he says is “very likely” to join the ‘Bloodline’ faction.

The ‘Bloodline’ has taken WWE by storm over the past year. Since Jimmy and his brother Jey joined up with Roman Reigns, the trio have laid waste to all that has been put in front of them.

Reigns is the sixth longest-reigning Universal Champion in the history of the company. He defeated Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt in a Triple Threat match to win the title back in August 2020.

Since then, the ‘Tribal Chief’ has established himself as the face of the company. Reigns has defeated the likes of Edge, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, John Cena and Brock Lesnar to retain the gold.

The Usos, meanwhile, have held the SmackDown tag titles since July 2021. They have successfully defended the belts against The Mysterios, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs, and others. They are the longest-reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions in the company’s history.

At WrestleMania Backlash, The Usos and Reigns teamed up to defeat the team of RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) and Drew McIntyre.

All three Bloodline members are part of the Anoa’i family, which is made up of some legendary professional wrestlers. Yokozuna, Rikishi and Umaga have all had success in WWE, whilst The Rock is an honorary family member.

With so much skill in the family, it is unsurprising that more talent is coming through on NXT and in the independents.

Jacob Fatu is currently signed to Major League Wrestling and is also a part of the Anoa’i family. He once held the MLW World Heavyweight Championship for a record 809 days.

In NXT, Solo Sikoa is taking the yellow brand by storm. Already considered as a future main roster talent, the 29-year-old is the brother of Jimmy and Jey Uso.

Also part of the family is current Women’s Tag Team Champion Naomi. She married Jimmy Uso in 2014.

In an interview with WWE commentator Corey Graves on ‘After The Bell‘, Jimmy Uso spoke of his wife’s chances of joining the Bloodline.

He explained (quotes via WrestlingInc): “It’s very likely, man. She talks about it a lot. She talks about it like, ‘I’m ready to just snap.’ And she can snap, man, she’s snapped on my a** plenty of times so she could bring that promo.

“She’s ready to try something new, yanno? She’s always been adaptive, she gets it. That’s why she’s been around. Sometimes I forget she’s been here 10 years too.”

Naomi certainly has a title-winning pedigree as a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, alongside her current tag reign. Her addition to the Bloodline would be an interesting one – and add an extra element to allow the faction to dominate WWE even further.
