The boxing icon last set foot through the ropes, in a losing effort against Yordenis Ugas in August last year. Despite giving his all, the pressure fighter failed to get past the Cuban’s snapping jab and ultimately lost via unanimous decision.
So after an incredible career, in which he won world titles in eight weight classes, the legend hung up the gloves. But in a surprise move, he’s dusted off his hammers for one last soiree.
Pacquiao will collide with South Korean superstar, DK Yoo. The martial arts instructor has exploded on social media due to his interesting techniques. To the naked eye, he appears to possess fantastic fundamentals. But on Saturday night, he’s taking on one of the greatest to ever do it.
According to the grapevine, Yoo is a veteran of the Special Forces, while others rumours suggest he underwent training in the Russian Spetsnaz. But we don’t really know for sure.
