Mike Tyson predicts Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight

Mike Tyson has given his thoughts on who he believes will win the upcoming boxing match between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley.

While it may seem insane to anyone on the outside looking in, Jake Paul is in fact going to be boxing a former UFC welterweight champion in his next fight. He’ll be attempting to take his professional record to 4-0 whereas Woodley will try and prove to the world that he’s still a force to be reckoned with after four straight defeats in mixed martial arts.

Who will get the job done?

Jake, alongside his brother Logan, has been able to build quite the reputation for himself in the combat sports sphere with many casual fans putting more value behind his name than many other high profile boxers.

One man who knows a thing or two about the boxing landscape is Mike Tyson and during a recent episode of his podcast, he gave his thoughts on who he thinks will walk away with the win when Paul battles Woodley.

“I don’t know. Paul’s a real good striker, and I think people do him a disservice when they go in there and say, ‘He’s blonde-haired and blue-eyed, he’s a white b****’, and I think that also builds their courage up and causes them to get knocked out.

“Jake’s gonna beat him. Woodley’s not a puncher like that, that’s why he wants to fight this guy, to get his last payday probably.”

If “The Problem Child” does wind up getting the better of Woodley, it could set him up for something that seemed unimaginable just twelve months ago – a showdown with former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor.

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley is set to go down in Cleveland, Ohio on August 29 with Tommy Fury being scheduled to feature on the undercard.
