MrBeast looks on, as a parrot chases flag football star, Diana Flores, during NFL Super Bowl

In an incredible NFL Super Bowl commercial, Diana Flores left a host of icons, including, Mr Beast, in her wake as she showcased her outrageous flag football skills.

The yearly event has made a reputation for its creative averts. But this year 72andSunny really pushed the boat out. During the Half-Time show, in a well-crafted trick, the broadcasters led the audience to believe they were about to watch Fox Sports anchor Erin Andrews interview Mexico Women’s National Flag Football team quarterback on the sidelines. However, they were rendered flabergasted when the presenter lunged for Flores’ flags.

Now fully aware that everyone was after her, the recent AFC offensive coordinator at The Pro Bowl Games sprinted down the tunnel as an array of security guards tried, unsuccessfully, to stop her, with some falling face-first into a hotdog stand.

Having evaded capture, thanks to her slick feet, Flores made her way into the Arizona streets. But her journey was far from over. Incredibly, members of the public began chancing their arms, with many hitting the floor, with the realisation that they never really stood a chance in the first place.

Diana Flores goes toe-to-toe with an NFL legend

Seeking safety, the 24-year-old headed into a shopping centre, where she caught the eye of a cheeky parrot. The big bird followed her down an escalator, in an amusing fashion, before revealing his true identity as Las Vegas Raiders icon, Davante Adams.

The chase continues, with the pair even passing YouTube sensation, Mr Beast, who, to his own frustration, misses the opportunity to film. Eventually, Flores, showed off her parkour skills, jumping off a roof to evade the wide receiver, who quickly realised he wasn’t wearing the correct attire to continue his efforts.

Luckily, the talented athlete made it home without losing her precious flags. She walked into the kitchen to the comforting sight of her mother. Consequently, she understandably lets her guard down. But in a major plot twist, even her own flesh and blood couldn’t resist having a pop. However, like the rest, she fell foul to her daughter’s fancy footwork.

The commercial concluded with Flores running down the road alongside tennis legend Billie Jean King, U.S Women’s National Flag Football team quarterback Vanita Krouch and the first female tackle football player with an NIL deal Bella Rasmussen.

As the screen turns to black, a message reads: “To the women pushing football forward, we can’t wait to see where you take this game.”

The NFL is proud to continue growing flag football

NFL Chief Marketing Officer, Tim Ellis said: “We’ve always prided ourselves in creating Super Bowl ads that deliver blockbuster entertainment to fans worldwide. But what’s notable this year is that ‘Run With It’ is rooted in the game of Flag Football. This is one of our most long-term strategies.

“Flag Football is universal, inclusive, fast and fun. And with this creative, we are thrilled to not just elevate flag, but specifically highlight how women are changing the game, driving the future of football forward and inspiring generations to come.”
