On June 16, the Premier League finally unveiled the eagerly anticipated fixture list for the 22/23 season – and we now know which games are on the TV schedule for the opening weekend.
This year’s campaign, as ever, will be much-hyped amongst fans. They will sit on the edge of their seats as they await the answers to the sport’s biggest questions.
Can Manchester United return to their best under Erik ten Hag? Can Everton bounce back from a disastrous run last season? And who will emerge victorious in the latest chapter of the rivalry between Manchester City and Liverpool – or will others enter the fray?
Luckily, they don’t have long to wait. The season commences on Friday, August 5, as Arsenal travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace
In the pick of the following matches, Frank Lampard will try to fend off his old side when Chelsea head to Goodison Park to take on Everton.
In addition, viewers can catch Liverpool vs Fulham, Manchester City vs West Ham and Manchester United vs Brighton.
