PSG have released their home kit for the upcoming 2022/23 season, and the fans can’t wait to purchase the latest edition.
Every year, supporters all over the French capital pile into the stores to get their hands on the jersey they can proudly wear to Les Parc des Princes. And this year, the designers have combined tradition and modernity to craft the perfect shirt.
Off the back of a rollercoaster season, PSG is hoping to finally reach the pinnacle of the club game. Granted, they ran riot in Ligue 1 en route to picking up yet another a domestic league title. But the competition at the forefront of their mind is the Champions League.
The French side crashed out in the last 16 after collapsing underneath the pressure of Real Madrid. Despite leading 2-0 on aggregate, they failed to contain Karim Benzema, who bagged three goals and consequently sent the Parisians heading home with their tail between their legs.
But the start of a new season offers promise, optimism and a sense of adventure. The fans are already preparing for their next run at the trophy, but to win it, the team will need to wear a kit fit for a king.
PSG 2022/23 home kit revealed
The Ligue 1 side have had an interesting summer so far. Despite huge doubt, they managed to keep Kylian Mbappe at the club by making him a groundbreaking offer. And now they’ve hit the headlines again with the reveal of their new strip.
Following a plain kit last season, Nike has pushed the boat out with a jersey bursting with character. The blue strip features a beautiful white stripe down its centre, with the designer’s iconic tick and the club badge in the top half before it splits in two. Qatar Airways prominently sits in the gap with ‘Goat’ featuring on the shoulders. The shirt is topped off with navy shorts and socks, and the fans seem to love the whole idea.

One fan said: “This is sick.” followed by three love heart emojis.
While another commented: “Very nice.”
A third noticed the wording on the shoulder and tweeted an image of Lionel Messi with the caption: “I’m reading Goat on the sleeves.”
