Tyson Fury calls out Jake Paul for fight with brother Tommy

Tyson Fury has put forward the idea of his half-brother Tommy fighting YouTuber Jake Paul in the future.

Tommy Fury was in action on Saturday night, defeating winless opponent Scott Williams via knockout in the second round. He now has five wins in five professional fights.

After the fight, he told BT Sport: “I’m trying different things, I’m learning everything in the gym.

“I’m just trying to take it on to the fight night because I’ve had 10 amateur fights, not all have experience, so I’m learning on the way.”

In a tweet posted shortly after the victory that congratulated his brother, Tyson tagged Paul with the words “where are you at?”.

The YouTuber has fought twice in professional competition, recording wins over fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib and former NBA player Nate Robinson. He also defeated another YouTuber – Deji – in an amateur fight.

Paul on a mission to face star names

Since the Robinson victory, he has called out numerous big names in the combat sports world.

On one occasion, Paul offered to fight UFC star Nate Diaz. Judging by the 35-year-old’s response below, he didn’t take the proposal too well.

He also expressed confidence that he could defeat the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor. Referring to the Irishman and his team-mate Dillon Danis, he said he would “knock them both out“.

Paul is due to face former Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren in a professional boxing match next month in the United States.

It will be the first time 36-year-old Askren has competed since retiring from mixed martial arts in December 2019.

YouTuber boxing is a subject that everyone has their own views on, but if Paul continues to keep winning against progressively more skilled fighters, it will give viewers a greater indication of the extent of the boxing talent he possesses.
