Victor Osimhen rages at Virgil van Dijk after suffering wrist injury

Last week, Galatasaray produced an epic victory, defeating Liverpool 1-0 at the Rams Park in Istanbul, Turkey.

This evening, the Süper Lig side hoped to continue from where it left off. Alas, within ten minutes, they nearly lost their star man.

In a strange turn of events, while battling for the ball, Ibrahima Konaté appeared to accidentally knee Victor Osimhen in the wrist, resulting in the talented player crashing towards the ground in agony.

He remained on the floor for a concerning length of time, before rising to his feet to confront Alexis Mac Allister.

Attempting to resolve the situation, Virgil van Dijk stepped in, which prompted the Galatasaray striker to angrily shout at the Dutchman, while holding his own wrist.

Then, the chaos continued, with Osimhen running over to square-up to Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Nigerian was later taken off to have his wrist wrapped up, before being allowed to return to the field of play.

But if the injury wasn’t a sour enough pill for the gifted footballer to swallow, he then had to watch one of the men he’d just kicked off at, score for Liverpool, with Szoboszlai putting the ball in the back of the net to make it 1-1 on aggregate.

Virgil van Dijk should fight an Arsenal player who a former boxer claims does his head in

Of course, Van Dijk and Osimhen were never close to actually brawling on the field of play.

However, a former professional fighter would love to see the centre-back test out his skills inside the ring.

During an exclusive interview with Sporf, the ex-boxer named the Arsenal player Van Dijk should face.
