Vinicius Junior is potentially on the cusp of making a move to Arsenal.
The Brazilian would likely create an enormous splash in the Premier League, with fans of the London club hopeful the superstar will sign on the dotted line.
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Vinicius Junior
Vinicius Junior has reportedly agreed personal terms with Arsenal. With the gifted player’s contract at Real Madrid set to end next year, the Spanish club would rather let him go now than lose him on a free transfer.
Vinicius wants a massive boost in wages, but despite his best efforts, he’s struggled to get his current side to agree to pay him the figure he craves.
According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal has reached an agreement with the 26-year-old, who is very tempted to walk away from life at the Bernabéu to become the star of the show at the Emirates.
Madrid has sent Vinicius a new contract offer, which the footballer has supposedly rejected.
With a move to England significantly growing in likelihood, the Rio De Janeiro hero has reached out to an array of his Brazil teammates to get their words of wisdom on what it’s like to play in the Premier League.
The report added: “Vinicius has sought advice from several of his international teammates regarding the possibility of a move to London.”
In addition, Former Real Madrid player and sporting director Predrag Mijatovic told El Larguero, on August 5: “We now know what Real Madrid is offering him, and Vinicius has rejected it. At this point in the summer, with one year remaining on his contract, this whole situation clearly indicates that Vinicius is not planning to renew.”
The Montenegrin added: “He can ask for 30 or 35 or 25 million, it does not matter. At this stage, it is no longer important. He is already studying other offers, which is natural given that he is a wonderful player.
“Arsenal are very interested in signing him. I have reports from England indicating that Arsenal are planning to pay a huge sum to acquire him.”
