The folks at adidas have turned to the host city of Los Angeles to inspire their design for the new MLS All-Star shirt.
The match, which will take place at LAFC’s Stadium on August 25th, will see the standout talent from the MLS face the best of the Liga MX.
The shirt features eye-catching reflective trims that shimmer on a backdrop of black and gold, said to represent the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
Inspired by Art Deco architecture in Los Angeles, the jersey is designed from adidas Aeroready performance fabric made up of stars and maple leafs that represent the U.S. and Canadian clubs of MLS.
While we’re rarely fans of overbearing sponsors on shirt fronts, we’ll hold our hands up and admit that the Target logo doesn’t look entirely terrible thanks to its simplicity.
The MLS All-Star jersey is available to purchase over on Pro:Direct Soccer now.
