Anthony Joshua shows off incredible body transformation ahead of Usyk fight

Anthony Joshua appears to be in the best shape of his life heading into tomorrow night’s main event against Oleksandr Usyk.

After months of speculation regarding who he’s going to fight next, Joshua is now just over 24 hours away from locking horns with the unbeaten Ukrainian at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The bout is expected to serve as something of an unofficial “heavyweight semi-final” with the winner likely going on to face either Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury in a unification fight next year.

Of course, fans of Anthony Joshua can’t afford to get too far ahead of themselves given the insane stakes at play – as well as the ability of his opponent Oleksandr Usyk.

Is AJ ready for war?

The official weigh-ins took place earlier today and saw Joshua come in slightly lighter than in his last fight and when you take a look at the following comparison picture, it’s clear to see the difference that just six months can make.

Usyk, meanwhile, came in at his heaviest ever weight as he attempts to cause one of the most notable upsets of the year thus far.

Joshua is no fool, though, and he knows that taking Usyk lightly could lead him down a similar path to what he experienced against Andy Ruiz Jr. in their first meeting. After all, Usyk has been described as a “much better” pure boxer than Joshua by plenty of analysts, offering up the biggest of all potential banana skins.

The Saturday night PPV is expected to start at 6pm on Sky Sports Box Office with Joshua vs Usyk going down just a few hours later.
