The Barcelona and Juventus social media teams have been firing back at each other in recent weeks after their meeting in the Champions League group stage
Barca took the first game 2-0, spurred on by a vintage Lionel Messi performance which saw him notch a goal and assist. After the game Barca shared a tongue-in-cheek message on Twitter, labelling the Argentine the GOAT.

Despite the loss, the Italian giants were quick to stand by their man, who was missing on the night due to his positive coronavirus test.
“You probably looked it up in the wrong dictionary. We’ll bring you the right one at Camp Nou” the club wrote back.

With the pair set to meet again next month, the Spaniards have reopened the exchange, sharing an incredibly Messi statistic, which details how he’s scored more free kicks individually in the last ten seasons than Juventus as a whole – along with the caption “ratioed by Messi”.
