Bradley Barcola to Liverpool: €140m transfer agreed

Liverpool have reached a full verbal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign forward Bradley Barcola for a package worth between €135m and €140m, according to Florian Plettenberg. The French international has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League club ahead of a medical.

The deal moved rapidly overnight following a breakthrough in negotiations between the two European giants. The total package is worth approximately £120m, according to David Ornstein. This includes a fixed guaranteed sum of around £100m. The transfer is now in its final stages as the clubs finalise the remaining paperwork, according to The Empire of The Kop.

Liverpool had been exploring various attacking options during the final week of the window. They recently opened talks for Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr, according to Fabrizio Romano. That move followed a collapsed deal for Yankuba Minteh. However, the pursuit of Barcola has taken priority as the club seeks a marquee addition to their frontline.
