Brazil footballer Lucao do Break celebrated his Man of the Match award in brilliant fashion after a Campeonato Paulista match.
The forward, who plays for Serie B side Guarani, netted the opening goal of his side’s 3-0 victory over Ponte Preta on Sunday.
The game took place within the Campeonato Paulista, which is the top division of the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo.
Alongside Guarani in Group A are South American giants Corinthians. They are four points clear at the top of the table. However, the Serie B side remains on their coattails after an impressive victory.
Lucao celebrates with incredible breakdancing
It was Lucao’s night. He scored his first goal since the end of January.
For reference, his last goal was an absolute screamer against Sao Paulo. After robbing the ball from a defender, the forward took several strides forward before curling an unstoppable effort into the top corner.
He certainly has a penchant for the spectacular. After taking time to savour his achievement, he took part in press duties to celebrate the award.
But then it was time for the main event. After posing with his Man of the Match award for the cameras, Lucao walked away from the press area. Then the breakdancing started.
In an incredible feat of strength, especially after completing a full 90 minutes, Lucao managed to get several rotations in before returning to his feet. Fittingly, he ended the routine with an upward celebration, to applause from those in attendance.
Incredibly, it wasn’t even the first time he performed the move on the night. After scoring the opener, Lucao also engaged in breakdancing. Understandably, given that the game was only nine minutes old, the routine looked slightly more convincing than it did at the end of a gruelling encounter.
The 30-year-old, who has spent his entire career in Brazil barring half a season playing for Kuwaiti side Al-Kuwait, is now into his second campaign with Guarani.
They will be hoping he can embark on a goalscoring run – inspired by his breakdancing exploits.
