Conor McGregor accused of attacking famous Italian DJ

UFC star Conor McGregor has been accused of attacking famous Italian DJ Francesco Facchinetti in Rome.

While many fans are hopeful that Conor McGregor will return from the leg break he suffered back in the summer and compete inside the octagon once again, others are troubled by the continued issues he has outside of mixed martial arts.

“The Notorious” has been involved in a series of run-ins with the law from the infamous UFC 223 bus attack to punching an old man in a bar to being accused of sexual assault. As time goes on, issues continue to arise in his professional and personal life – with a report from TMZ Sports suggesting there’s been another over the weekend.

McGregor was believed to be partying with his partner and the aforementioned Facchinetti in Italy when, as per the latter’s wife, the situation escalated.

“Out of nowhere, he threw a punch in the face of Francesco. He was inviting us to another party. Francesco said, ‘Okay, let’s go’ and he hit him. Luckily, he [Francesco] was very close so he [Conor] couldn’t load up on his punch. Francesco flew back, fell on the table, and then on the ground. The first thing that came to mind was ‘are we kidding? Is it a show?’ Then I was paralyzed.”

McGregor’s problems persist

“I turned around and saw that his friends were holding him against the wall because he wanted to continue beating Francesco. Then they took him away. I turned on the light and the guards turned them off. Francesco was bleeding. I wanted to help him and the guards chased us away. He will stay in Italy until October 26th. If you see him stay away from him. Don’t go near him and ask for autographs because he is an unstable and dangerous person.”

Facchinetti has indicated that he does intend to press charges against McGregor.
