Cristiano Ronaldo forced to leave mansion owing to noisy farm animals

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been forced to leave his Manchester mansion – due to the presence of noisy sheep.

The Sun have reported that the sheep were keeping the 36-year-old awake at night, whilst there have been also been security issues.

They quote a source who says that the sheep are “very noisy early in the morning” and that the public footpath “gave a view inside [the house’s] gates”.

Ronaldo touched down in Manchester earlier this month after completing a transfer deadline day move back to United from Juventus, with his partner and four children also moving to England with him.

The Portuguese star made his second United debut against Newcastle last Saturday. In typical Ronaldo fashion, he took the headlines by scoring twice in a 4-1 victory.

He told BBC Sport after the game: “It is unbelievable. When I started the game I was so nervous, I swear.

“I did not expect that they [the fans] would sing my name all game. The reception is incredible but I am here to win games and help the team.

“It was an unbelievable moment. I was super nervous and was thinking last night that I wanted to play good and show I was still capable of helping the team.

“This club is unbelievable and I am so proud. I am going to give everything to make them proud of me.

“Everyone knows the football in England is different than in any part of the world and to be honest it is the most special one. I arrived here at 18 and they treated me unbelievably and that is why I am back.”

Ronaldo also started United’s Champions League clash with Young Boys on Tuesday, opening the scoring in an eventual 2-1 defeat at the home of the Swiss champions.

The Red Devils are next in action on Sunday, when they take on West Ham in the Premier League.
