On the one hand, he knew he had to deliver for the supporters, who’ve for so long watched him dazzle on the European scene, and on the other, the Portuguese sensation wanted more than anything to prove that he’s still a world-class athlete.

2) Cristiano Ronaldo bags back-to-back hat-tricks
Ronaldo has never been one to shy away from controversy, getting suspended for a gesture during Al-Nassr’s Saudi Cup loss to Al-Hilal.
Therefore, when the time came for him to return, he did so with a vengeance, going on an unrelenting streak in front of goal, first hitting the winner against Al-Ahli, before following that up with a hat-trick in a 5-0 win over Al-Tai.
But he wasn’t done yet. In his very next game, the superstar scored another hat-trick, in an 8-0 demolition job on Abha.
