Joe Rogan couldn’t believe the size of Devon Larratt’s hands

When Joe Rogan met Devon Larratt, he was nothing short of startled.

During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the podcaster explained: “Dude, I met this guy, Devon. He’s a world champion arm wrestler, and I’m telling you, this guy had the biggest hands I’ve ever experienced in my life. It didn’t even make any sense. This dude’s hands were like catcher’s mitts. They were so big. I was shaking his hand, and I was like, ‘I guess I’m shaking your hand, I’m just putting my hand out there into the abyss of what your hand is’.”

When asked about that moment during an exclusive interview with Sporf, Larratt reminisced: “What a busy guy Joe Rogan is. I remember meeting him at his comedy place, and he has such a busy life. I think Joe would love armwrestling. It’s one of the safest fight sports that there is, but the technical side I’m sure, would intrigue him.”

Devon Larratt predicts an extremely hard battle at East vs West Armwrestling 23

In his remarkable career, Larratt has obliterated some of the best practitioners the sport has ever seen. However, at East vs West Armwrestling 23, the Canadian knows he has an almighty challenge ahead of him.

He admitted: “I believe that this is probably going to be the hardest match of my career. He’s an incredible champion. He’s at the peak of his career, mid-thirties, already a world champion on the left, trying to become the first athlete to do it right-handed and left-handed in the modern era. He’s bigger and stronger, so I’m just trying as a 50-year-old athlete to hold on. I’m trying to defend against this rising superstar. We have an inevitable relationship between us; I’m just hoping I can hold him off this time.”
