Ember Moon has revealed that WWE held a two-hour meeting with female superstars and suggested that they needed to add extra sex appeal to their look.
Not so long ago, the landscape of the world’s premier wrestling promotion used to be a completely different place. The women weren’t considered equal. They were merely a sideshow for the male spectators to enjoy. They wore revealing outfits which took precedence over their skill level that ought to have received more exposure.
But in 2015, the game changed. The women’s revolution pioneered by stars like Becky Lynch saw the emergence of genuine female icons. They joined the men as ‘superstars’ instead of ‘divas’ and slowly but surely began cementing themselves as genuine main eventers.
In 2018, they competed in their first-ever Royal Rumble, and two years later, ‘The Man’ joined Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey to become the first-ever female headliners of Wrestlemania.
But according to Moon, despite the progress, the company’s old practices are returning to the forefront.

Ember Moon reveals WWE asked the women to dress sexier
The popular performer was released from her contract in November. But in a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, she discussed her time in the promotion.
“I remember going to my make-up artist and going, ‘I’m so unhappy, I’m so unhappy’, and we’d have to sit through stupid meetings about how we would have to dress sexy. And I remember looking at someone and was like, I cater to children. I’m not about to wear fishnet booty buttcheek shorts because we had a two-hour meeting about how to dress like Mandy Rose.”
Fightful reported via a female talent at the meeting that though the words ‘dress sexier’ weren’t used, they were implied.
