R-Truth may not be satisfied with only being a member of The Judgement Day. In fact, the 53 time WWE 24/7 Champion has his eyes on another major faction’s membership. Not to mention reuniting with a face from his distant past.
While Truth is currently on a mission to spread The Judgement Day’s message of ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ throughout WWE, Monday Night Raw’s premier band of Goths are not the only faction the former United States Champion is interested in bootlegging merch for.
During a recent exclusive chat with SPORF, the timeless 52-year-old revealed that, despite his love for Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, Damien Priest, Tom and Nick Mysterio, there is another family where he feels like he could fit in.
“I thought about joining The Bloodline but they be tripping,” Truth explains, referencing Roman Reigns’ family tree that has been running roughshod over WWE for the last three years. “That’s my other family, y’know what I’m saying? Big Uce, old Romy Rome, he be tripping. Me and Jimmy are cool but they be having that family turmoil. And I like that family togetherness. I like to live, laugh and love.

“The Judgement Day, we got that family bond,” Truth continues, “We love each other. I can’t leave the Judgement Day hanging though, man. They need me.”
Truth’s history with major league factions actually dates back all the way to the turn of the 21st century.
In 2000, Ron Killings had not lifted either of his two NWA World Titles. Nor had he introduced the world to Little Jimmy. He hadn’t headlined Madison Square Garden against The Rock. Nor had he challenged his ‘childhood hero’ John Cena for the WWE Title. He wasn’t even R-Truth yet. Instead, he was K-Kwik. And he was partnered with WWE legend and New Age Outlaw, Road Dogg Jesse James.
And while the pair’s days as a tag team in the old New York territory were short lived, they did provide the artist formerly known as K-Kwik with the opportunity to become part of a pseudo-D-Generation-X at Survivor Series 2000. Alongside the aforementioned Dogg, ‘Bad Ass’ Billy Gunn and Chyna, Truth came up short against The Radicalz (Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn).

The former Tag Team champion would also welcome a reunion with the old gang, having enjoyed his brief run as an honorary member almost 25 years ago.
“DX? Bring that back. Me and Road Dogg, we still talk. We still cool. Me and Hunter are still cool. Bring it back, man.”
And what of Get Rowdy? That much loved, too shortly lived pair from the year 2000. Could we see a renaissance of the hip hop drenched duo in 2024?
“You never know,” reveals R-Truth when I pose the question to him.
“Never say never. You never know in this business, man. That’s the great thing about it. You never know what’s gonna happen.”
Sorry Miz, but that resurrection of the Awesome Truth is going to have to go on the back burner for a little while. We need to Get Rowdy one more time.
