Exclusive: Royce Keys Reveals Which WWE Legend He Wants In The 946

Royce Keys picks all his hitters; Lucien Price, Bronco Nima, Jaida Parker, Carmelo Hayes. It is a recruitment drive that has made The 946 THE can’t miss faction in professional wrestling and Keys one of WWE’s most magnetic superstars.

The Oakland native may have had a briefly stop-start beginning to his WWE career, but over the past two months, Keys has established himself as the magnetic force around which all Monday Night Raw’s heaviest hitters are drawn towards.

Namely, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

So with main event maulings of the Tribal Chief and his family in his immediate future, it should come as no surprise that Keys has become the focal point of 2K Games’ latest Ringside Pass update for WWE 2K26.

Season six of Ringside Pass delivers Keys’ first appearance in the franchise, alongside legends such as former WWE Tag Team Champions the Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) and AAA luchadore Octagón Jr.

Royce Keys has freight train momentum

Keys being placed front and centre of the update should come as no surprise. In a short space of time, the former Powerhouse Hobbs has debuted at the Royal Rumble, won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal during WrestleMania 42 week and formed one of the most exciting factions in recent WWE history.

That The 946 have been placed opposite The Bloodline should tell you everything you need to know about the stock that has been placed in Keys. After a lukewarm first few months with the company, following his arrival from AEW, Keys began gaining momentum through the summer, aligning himself with Solo Sikoa and LA Knight in their battles against the Anoaʻi family.

After being written off television due to a brutal attack from former best friend Jacob Fatu, Keys returned three weeks later, flanked by Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, to destroy everyone in sight, whether they be a Fatu or otherwise. Ain’t nobody safe, it turned out.

In the two months since their debut as a faction, The 946 have swelled their ranks with the additions of NXT’s Jaida Parker and former United States and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. But with recruitment to his new group in full swing, and potentially a very selective process, who else would Keys like to add?

The 946 – The World’s Strongest Group?

When SPORF chatted exclusively to the man himself earlier this month, Keys had a very strong selection in mind.

“It’s a tough one. I got quite a few, but if I had to narrow it down, it probably would be…Mark Henry. He’s got the title World’s Strongest Man. I would definitely add him to the group.”

Keys is keen to stress during our conversation that each new addition to The 946 has to leave him with no doubt in his mind that they belong in the group.

“I pick all my hitters, man. So all my people can go. You know, if I questioned it, they wouldn’t be standing on my left and right. So everyone in that group’s a hitter.”

Much like the g in lasagne, Keys and his crew move in silence, until it’s time to make a lot of noise, as has been the case with their August debut and then the introductions of Parker and Hayes. The addition of Hayes especially caught fans off guard, given his lack of screen time on WWE television in the preceding months.

Royce Keys – Man of Mystery

In the hours prior to the former NXT Champion becoming the latest member of The 946, Hayes’ social media had gone dark, in much the same way his former rival Ilja Dragunov’s had done earlier this year just as he was departing WWE. It was ferociously discussed online as to whether Hayes was about to follow an identical trajectory with his career.

Instead of switching the New York territory for the Jacksonville one, however, Hayes was waiting for his close up. The mask off reveal in the main event of Monday Night Raw. Millions of social media views followed. Millions of fans further entranced and intrigued by what could be next for The 946. Keys himself admitted that the mystery is intentional.

“You know, we’re mysterious. We always want to make people wonder, you know what I’m saying? We call the right plays, you know, we don’t let people know too much.”

Speaking of mysterious, Keys has a dream match on his hit list that proves “ain’t nobody safe” extends to those WWE stars who no longer grace the squared circle. When the scenario of a dream match was put to Keys, given they can now all be virtually brought to life through his inclusion in Ringside Pass season six, Keys was quick to drop one of the heaviest hitters of all time.

“All time [dream match] would be The Undertaker, when he had the Ministry of Darkness.”

The 946 vs The Ministry of Darkness/Corporate Ministry? Generations could feast on that sort of rivalry. As it happens, we will have to confine it to the virtual world with WWE 2K27 but, if Keys and The 946 continue to dominate Monday Night Raw in the same manner as the last two months, who’s to say some other dream matches won’t become reality for Royce Keys in the very near future?
