Given how his interactions with celebrities went at this year’s WrestleMania, you would be forgiven for thinking The Miz wants to give them a wide berth from now on.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case.
The two time WWE Champion hosted WrestleMania 39 earlier this month. Alongside Snoop Dogg, The Miz made a handful of appearances in the ring across the two nights. However, predictably, his involvement wasn’t limited to just announcing the stadium attendance and introducing each show.
Instead, The Miz not once, but twice, found himself in impromptu matches.

First up came the returning Pat McAfee. The beloved SmackDown commentator made a surprise comeback on night one and challenged the Grand Slam champ to a bout. Snoop Dogg wasted no time in making the fight official and, moments later, Miz was having his shoulders counted to the mat for the,1,2,3.
The surprise of the bout, plus the interference from San Francisco 49’ers tight end George Kittle, led The Miz to call Snoop out on night two. The Doggfather then hoodwinked The Miz into what was supposed to be a match against a returning Shane McMahon.
Snoop Knocks The Miz For A Loop
However, instead of being gifted a WrestleMania 35 rematch, we instead witnessed Shane O’Mac blow out his quad within a few seconds of his introduction. Before Snoop took over.
The WWE Hall of Famer decked The Miz and promptly dropped history’s worst/greatest People’s Elbow for the victory. It was truly a WrestleMania moment for the ages.
But despite this duo of celeb setbacks, The Miz isn’t giving up on A-List challengers yet.
Ahead of ‘Mania, the man who main evented WrestleMania 27 against John Cena chatted exclusively to SPORF, and had a Hollywood sized revelation for us.
The Miz Wants Star Lord At WrestleMania
In fact, despite having a sketchy past with celebrities inside the squared circle, The Miz wants to take more of them on.
“Usually celebrities call me out. They come to me. I don’t know why that is,” the A-Lister began when asked who he would most like to challenge to a match at WrestleMania.
“Bad Bunny, Logan Paul, they came to me. Calling out a big movie star though, how about Brad Pitt? Bring him on.
“Actually, Chris Pratt, how about that? Let’s go with Chris Pratt. Let’s do that one, absolutely. He’s been training with Batista. Let’s go.”
To be honest, we are fully on board with this potential match up. Ideally with Pratt in character as one of his most well renowned roles. The A-Lister vs Star Lord? Who wouldn’t pay good money to see that? How about The Miz vs Indianpolis’ finest Andy Dwyer? Or better yet, his FBI alter ego Burt Macklin.
Miz. Pratt. WrestleMania 40. Let’s go.
