Floyd Mayweather Jr. is set to take on Logan Paul in an exhibition bout on June 6, it has been confirmed.
Mayweather announced the news on his Instagram earlier today.
He wrote: “Me and Logan Paul will be fighting at the Hard Rock Stadium.
“@mayweatherpromotions @fanmio and @showtimeboxing have come together to bring an epic Event!!!
“Tickets will be going on sale next week…..”

The pair were due to fight on February 20, although that date was later postponed.
And after months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Mayweather and Paul will face off after all.
It will be the first time Mayweather has stepped into the ring since 2017, when he defeated Conor McGregor to extend his professional boxing record to 50-0.
Paul, meanwhile, fought against fellow YouTuber KSI in his only boxing match prior to the Mayweather fight, losing via split decision.
He appeared at WrestleMania 37 earlier this month, and was ringside for Sami Zayn’s match against Kevin Owens.
Earlier this month, Mayweather explained his reasoning for taking the fight against Paul.
Speaking in a YouTube interview with Rob Moore, he said: “I can fight a fighter right now and I can guarantee myself $35m, eventually probably make about $50m.
“That’s just a regular fighter.
“Me and Logan Paul or a YouTuber, we can go out and we can entertain and have fun and make nine figures. $100m or more.
“So if you were me and you were retired – because everybody thinks that retired means at home, with your feet kicked up and you picking up weight – I prefer to go out and still entertain and have fun.”
Fans have been discussing the fight on Twitter – here’s what they have had to say:
