This Saturday night at UFC 264, Conor McGregor faces a real crossroads moment in his mixed martial arts career.
He’ll go head to head with Dustin Poirier for the third time as their thrilling trilogy finally comes to an end in Las Vegas. The pair will be battling it out just six months on from their rematch which, unfortunately for ‘The Notorious’, didn’t really go too well for him.
He was soundly beaten by ‘The Diamond; with many now believing he’s the big underdog heading into this weekend. So, if he does lose again, it’s important for him to think through what his options could be moving forward – both in and outside of the octagon.
Nate Diaz 3

It’s been five long years since Conor got the win back over Nate in their rematch, and many believe the time has come for them to dance once again. If he wins at UFC 264 then the Irishman is probably heading for a UFC lightweight title shot, but if he tastes defeat, it would be the perfect excuse to pull the trigger on another trilogy.
Jorge Masvidal

Now that Jorge Masvidal is no longer in the running to dethrone Kamaru Usman after consecutive losses to ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, he’s ready and available to move into some other high profile fights. There’s a chance ‘Gamebred’ himself could go after Diaz or, on the flip side, we could experience the utter chaos of Masvidal vs McGregor.
Retirement

He’s a two-weight world champion, he’s the biggest draw in MMA history, and he’s already got multiple businesses that are doing really well outside of the cage. When you piece all of that together it just makes sense for him to stop risking his health if he’s going to be on the decline in terms of his overall abilities.
Boxing

McGregor vs Mayweather was seen by many as a once in a lifetime event, but what if he decides to get into the squared circle with someone else? Manny Pacquiao has been put out there as a possible opponent, but unfortunately for many, the one that really stands out is YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul.
WWE

Conor McGregor and WWE should go together hand in hand and while he’s never made a formal appearance with the company, it’s definitely been teased. He’s had interactions with Becky Lynch, Triple H has said they’d consider the idea, and his famous “walk” originally came from WWE chairman Vince McMahon.
