It’s officially WrestleMania week and wrestling fans around the world are gearing up for WWE’s showpiece event once again.
We still aren’t going to have the international contingent of fans present at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, but across both nights, you can bet we’ll still see plenty of moments and matches worthy of being on the grandest stage of them all.
With that in mind, it’s time to run through a few things fans should watch out for this weekend.
The stage
Let’s be honest – the larger than life spectacle of WrestleMania is one of the best parts about the show. From the pyro to the special entrances, WWE knows how to go all out.
This year it seems as if they’re going to incorporate the pirate theme in a big way by building an actual pirate ship. No, we aren’t kidding.
Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair
If casual viewers want a glimpse into the future of women’s wrestling, we highly recommend this match.
Sasha Banks is easily one of the best wrestlers in the world right now and Bianca Belair is rising through the ranks quicker than anyone anticipated. Together, there’s a very good chance they’ll make magic happen on Night 1.
Bad Bunny & Logan Paul
Bad Bunny and Logan Paul will be at WrestleMania 37 and doesn’t that just sound a bit odd?
Bunny is set to actually compete in a tag team match on night One, and then on night two, Paul will be in the corner of Sami Zayn for his match against Kevin Owens as he continues preparations for his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather.
The Fiend’s terrifying antics
‘The Fiend’ is one of the most unique figures in recent WWE history.
Bray Wyatt has taken this character to places none of us could’ve seen coming. Now, at the showcase of the immortals, he and Alexa Bliss will attempt to finally end the Randy Orton chapter of his career when they meet in an incredibly unpredictable match.
Triple threat for the ages
Roman Reigns, Edge, Daniel Bryan.
Three men with three very different styles who all want to hold the Universal title. We all know Bryan and Edge have experience when it comes to causing an upset in a triple threat, but ‘The Big Dog’ Roman Reigns has been on the run of his career since turning heel.
Will his time on top come to an end? Find out on Sunday.
