Fury shows off impressive hand speed as training camp kicks off

Tyson Fury has published footage of his training in Las Vegas – showcasing incredible hand speed.

Fans are waiting patiently for an official announcement of his potential blockbuster unification bout against Anthony Joshua this summer.

Fury has been stepping up preparations for his eventual return to the ring.

He travelled to Las Vegas last week to take part in a training camp, and has been working in his US promoter Top Rank’s private gym.

Trainer Jorge Capetillo has been putting him through his paces, as evidenced in this seriously impressive footage Fury posted to his Twitter account earlier today:

The ‘Gypsy King’ has had his last four bouts staged in the US. Those include both of his fights against Deontay Wilder, with Fury winning the second via technical knockout in Las Vegas after the first bout was drawn.

Intriguingly, both Fury and Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn posted images of the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to Instagram this week – fuelling rumours that it could be the scene for the blockbuster fight.

The 70,000-capacity stadium hosts the NFL side Las Vegas Raiders, and opened last year.

Also present in Vegas is Billy Joe Saunders, who is set to take on Canelo Alvarez in a super-middleweight title unification bout on May 8.

Alvarez is currently ranked as the world’s best active pound for pound boxer by several boxing organisations, including the Ring magazine. He recorded his sole career loss (out of 58 professional fights) against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2013.
