Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has labelled some Man United staff and players as “tone deaf” in a furious post on social media.
Several of the Red Devils crew were seen in different parts of the world, enjoying some holiday following their recent poor run of form.
The players and staff have been subject to a lot of criticism recently. Ralf Rangnick’s men lost 4-1 to neighbours Manchester City in a humiliating Premier League display. They were knocked out of the Champions League at the last 16 stage by Atletico Madrid.
There was also an incident that made headlines last week. Marcus Rashford exchanged words with a fan who had abused him outside Old Trafford.

It is fair to say that the mood around the club is not great at that moment. And Gary Neville is among fans furious with his former side’s squad.
What have the Man United crew been up to?
With a short break from club football on the horizon as the international break looms, several Premier League players have viewed this as a holiday opportunity.
When it comes to United, Rashford has visited Dubai to watch the boxing with Brandon Williams in the last week. Jadon Sancho was also in Dubai.
Whilst the UAE has been a popular destination for some, Jesse Lingard opted for a trip to Milan. Interim manager Ralf Rangnick, meanwhile, was in Barbados watching the Test match between England and West Indies.
United owner Avram Glazer was even spotted queuing at the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix.
How has Gary Neville reacted?
Gary Neville is furious with the decision of some Man United players and officials to go on holiday.
As a former Red Devil himself, Neville was part of the famous ‘Class of ’92’ at Old Trafford. He played right-back in one of the best English sides the country has ever seen.
He has been very critical of the team that have failed to lift a trophy since winning the Europa League in 2017.
Neville took to his social media to tweet the following on Monday morning:
“I remember a time when United players, managers, executives wouldn’t be seen in their local Italian after a draw at home, let alone getting knocked out of Europe. This last week we’ve seen a global tour of F1, Concerts, Cricket and UFC events. This lot are Tone Deaf!”
United fans spend their days ever-wondering when they will return to the greatness they enjoyed under Sir Alex Ferguson. However, there is no sign of that return coming any time soon.
