Inter Miami launch classy ‘La Palma’ secondary shirt

Inter Miami have officially launched their gorgeous new away kit ahead of the 2021 MLS season.

The strip, dubbed “La Palma”, was launched over the weekend. It will serve as the secondary kit for the sophomore club who are hoping to make a stronger impression in the Eastern Conference this time around.

Pink accents combine with a lovely embossed black core. There’s also a hint of blue inside the collar that pays tribute to Florida’s Biscayne Bay.

It’s subtle, the colour scheme is strong, and it’s just generally just a pretty spectacular looking shirt.

Last season was a mixed bag for Inter Miami. While David Beckham’s side did enter the MLS, they also struggled to find their footing on the pitch. They wound up finishing in 10th in the East, leaving them 19th out of 26 clubs in the overall standings.

They’ve made a string of interesting acquisitions in recent months but perhaps the most notable has been Phil Neville.

The former Manchester United star-turned manager will be taking over as boss heading into the new season, with Beckham hoping that Neville’s experience can bring them joy – and hopefully more than six wins.

In a shirt as lovely as La Palma, we’d argue anything is possible.
