Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has supposedly been caught ranting about teammate Neymar during his side’s win over Montpellier.
PSG managed to secure a 2-0 win at home on Saturday in a game that highlighted just how much of a gap there seems to be between them and the rest of Ligue 1. They scored an early goal before absorbing pressure from the visitors throughout the course of the 90 minutes, eventually killing off the contest thanks to a late Julian Draxler goal.
A rocky relationship?
The strike was assisted by Brazilian sensation Neymar but as it turns out, not everyone within the PSG camp was pleased about how it all went down.
That’s because Kylian Mbappe, who has seemingly always had a decent relationship with Neymar, was caught mouthing “that tramp doesn’t pass to me” on the bench, apparently referring to the former Barcelona star.

The fact that PSG won the match is all that’ll really matter when the dust settles but it doesn’t bode well for their cohesion if they can’t get on the same page. After all, while domestic success is obviously high on their agenda, they also want to make another sustained push for glory in the Champions League – and they can’t do that if their front three isn’t functioning properly.
The draw against Club Brugge in their UCL group stage opener served as a real warning sign of what could happen if they aren’t playing to the best of their abilities. Later this week, that’ll be tested even further when they meet Manchester City in what some believe could be a preview of the final or a future knockout tie.
