Lacazette sets new record with his opening day strike

Alexandre Lacazette has got this season’s Premier League up and running with his ninth minute strike against Fulham.

His opener had a little extra significance too, as the forward became the first player to score the opening goal of a Premier League season for the second time.

His first came back in the 2017/18 season, where he bagged on his debut against Leicester.

Things didn’t get off to the ideal start for Arsenal though, after Dani Ceballos and Eddie Nketiah could be seen squaring up to each other on a couple of occasions as the side went through their warm up.
