Logan Paul can beat Paddy Pimblett in MMA according to UFC icon

With a high-level wrestling background and an unshakeable ego, Logan Paul believes he can beat Paddy Pimblett, and according to one UFC legend, his claims aren’t too far-fetched.

Since crossing over to the world of combat sports, ‘The Maverick’ has showcased his boxing skills in a bout with Floyd Mayweather and his supreme athleticism in WWE. But while he’s already done so much, he’s yet to achieve his ultimate dream of competing in the UFC.

At one stage of his life, Paul was the 5th best high school wrestler in the state of Ohio, with ambitions of pursuing MMA. However, that idea came to a halt when he gravitated towards the world of YouTube.

His wild antics quickly made him a star, but his itch to set foot in the octagon remained unscratched. And now, with his fame as high as ever, he’s hoping to close a deal to fight Paddy Pimblett.

Speaking on Impaulsive, he said: “I’ll fight for free, for charity… [I’ll fight] Anyone. You know [who] I want to fight, actually? Because b*tch a*s Andrew Tate won’t fight me, give me Paddy Pimblett! Give me ‘Paddy the Baddy’. In the offseason, that boy looks like a blimp, and he’ll come to my weight class, and I’ll wallop him. He’s too small when he cuts weight; when he doesn’t cut weight, he’s a f*cking horseshoe.”

Unsurprisingly, most fans believe he’d get annihilated by ‘The Baddy’, but one significant individual within the sport thinks that he’d have more than a chance of upsetting the apple cart.

Could Logan Paul beat Paddy Pimblett?

Since 1996, Bruce Buffer has grasped the attention of fans around the world with his incredible announcing skills.

Possessing palpable charisma and an epic catchphrase, the MC has helped make The UFC into the global phenomenon it is today. Therefore, when he asserts his opinion, we have to take note.

He told The Schmo: “I’d love to see that fight. First off, I’d love to see Logan Paul just walk in no matter who he fights, and I’ll tell you why. When you have an influencer like him that has such a far reach, he will bring eyeballs to the UFC that have not even gone onto the UFC. So, he’s a wrestler; he has a wrestling base; he’s a fantastic athlete.”

He continued: “Match him up properly with an opponent. Paddy Pimblett would be a huge fight. Who would not wanna tune in and watch that fight? It’s great ratings. It would really bring a lot of eyeballs. So, if Logan wants to train, go in and be a warrior, and do it, more power to him. Why not?”

While Paul undeniably possesses a significant advantage in wrestling, the last thing you want to do is take Pimblett to the ground, as with the scouser’s submission game being so devastating, it would only take a matter of seconds for his arms to wrap around the American’s neck and leave him waking up not quite knowing what had happened.
