On December 29, inside the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, one of the greatest feuds in European MMA history finally reached its conclusion.

After winning a brutal battle in 2022, Losene Keita was determined to prove his dominance over his arch-nemesis. However, while the first fight was for an interim title, this time around, the undisputed championship was on the line, as well as the coveted Tipsport Gamechanger trophy, making this encounter even more captivating than the first.

The competition, compared to the Champions League, pitted the best sixteen mixed martial artists in the continent against one another, with the two finalists battling through the very best in Europe to reach the fight that the rest could only dream of.

With the eyes of the world watching, Keita more than rose to the occasion. Showcasing his breathtaking speed, the Belgian looked fantastic, landing powerful blows on his opponent, But it was when Ronald Paradeiser went for a takedown in the second, that the 27-year-old looked truly terrifying.

Utilizing one arm to hold his adversary in place, the fighter used his other to detonate explosive elbows to render the Slovakian unconscious. 

The victory proved Keita’s status as the number one lightweight in Europe beyond doubt, with many wondering if there’s anyone out there capable of stopping his upward momentum.

However, it wasn’t just good for his reputation with the combat sports community but also for his bank balance, with an eye-watering €300,000 landing in his account.

And with the thunderous puncher adamant he’s still got much more to achieve in Oktagon MMA, it looks like fans will see him continue to make waves for a very long time to come.
