Mick Foley gives hilarious ‘conspiracy theory’ about John Cena poster

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has given fans a laugh after sharing a great ‘conspiracy theory’ that John Cena was Photoshopped in a movie poster.

As well as being one of wrestling’s all-time greats, Cena has carved out a successful acting career in Hollywood. Recently, he has starred as DC Comics character ‘Peacemaker’ in both “Suicide Squad” and a TV series bearing the character’s name.

Additionally, he has featured in the “Fast and Furious” series, “Bumblebee”, and “Daddy’s Home”.

Last year, ‘The Dr. of Thuganomics’ also starred in a film called “Vacation Friends”, which streamed on Hulu. Unfortunately for John Cena, Mick Foley saw some of the promotional posters for the movie on Twitter. As a result, Foley created a comical conspiracy over Cena’s suspicious-looking arms.

The posters in question

The film’s official Twitter account shared the promo pictures to advertise that “Vacation Friends” was available to watch. The WWE legend’s arm looks pretty normal in said images, featuring shots of the four main stars.

The most obvious one is the characters at the beach, where Cena’s arm is outstretched to take a group selfie. Curiously, Cena does not look as muscular as fans are typically accustomed to – but he isn’t exactly lacking in the muscle department either.

Nothing too crazy, right? But for Mick Foley, the arms of John Cena were all wrong. Something about his limbs just didn’t sit right with Cactus Jack.

Mick Foley makes brilliant comments on John Cena

On his ‘Foley is Pod‘ podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer hysterically claimed that Cena had fallen victim to computer editing. He described his fellow wrestling star’s typical physique to prove his point too.

“Let me tell you something, brother. I know John Cena,” started Foley (quotes via WrestlingInc). “John Cena is a friend of mine. John Cena has a forearm that I referred to in my Santa memoir as one that Popeye the Sailor Man would be envious of.

“It’s obvious to me, that’s not John Cena’s forearm in the movie poster, that’s a normal person’s forearm. John Cena does not have a normal forearm.”

Then, Foley gave a tongue-in-cheek comment on Cena’s mentality.

“Cena didn’t have guts, stamina, intestinal fortitude to step in there and do the photoshoot of his own [arm]. I think this might sound slanderous, but I think that there was some photoshopping going on. I’m not even sure all those four people were in the same room at the same time.

“They just thought that they were going to drape a normal forearm, and they were going to get that past me? Not on my watch, not in Mick Foley’s America. So, John Cena, you have some explaining to do.”
