Throughout his career, Paul Pogba has cemented himself as one of the world’s best players and has consequently accumulated a considerable net worth.
Pogba’s innate understanding of the game and an ability to pick out the perfect pass have been evident throughout his time at Juventus and Manchester United. However, at Old Trafford, he wasn’t always able to showcase his best form consistently.
There is no denying that Pogba has enjoyed some successful times with the Red Devils, too. In the 2018/19 season, the Frenchman scored 13 goals and provided nine assists in the Premier League.
One of his most memorable moments came against Manchester City in 2018. With United 2-0 down at half-time, Pogba sparked the ultimate comeback with two well-taken second-half goals. United won the game 3-2. Had City won it, they would have crowned Premier League champions on the day.
But a mixture of injuries and inconsistency has affected Pogba in his latter days as a Red Devil. And now, the 29-year-old has confirmed that he will indeed leave the Theatre of Dreams in his rearview mirror. Pogba took to Twitter to reveal the news to his 10.1 million followers.
He said: “I feel privileged to have played for this club. Many beautiful moments and memories but most importantly an unconditional support from the fans. Thank you, Manchester United.”
United responded in a polite fashion, as they bid farewell to the gifted midfielder.
They said: “Once a red, always a red. Thank you for your service.”
As soon as the news broke, the rumour mill immediately sprang into life over his next destination. But whilst we don’t yet know where he’ll play next season, we know that he is bound to make a lot of money.
