They say quality players don’t come cheap, but these ten future free agents will undoubtedly put that theory to the test. Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele are all available on a free next summer.
The never-ending transfer merry-go-round can often be exhausting. Still, it leads to many exciting possibilities, especially with the January window on the horizon.
Next summer, some incredible high-value players look set to head onto the open market. With that said, we’re going to use valuations from Transfermarkt to work out who could make the most noise.
10) Niklas Süle – £31.5m

It would have sounded insane twelve months ago, but Bayern Munich defender Niklas Süle is interested in the idea of joining Newcastle. Given that they want to make waves in the new year, this could be a story we hear a lot more of in the weeks to come.
9) Andrea Belotti – £31.5m

Andrea Belotti has given Torino fans many great memories to savour, but the time has come for him to look elsewhere. Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham all want to bring the dangerous forward to London, with Torino reportedly resigned to his departure. On top of that, AC Milan also fancy their chances.
8) Andreas Christensen – £31.5m

With the depth of their squad, it’s challenging to get consistent game time for Chelsea. Andreas Christensen doesn’t struggle too much with that, but the latest development in his contract demands suggests that he’s ready to leave Stamford Bridge.
7) Marcelo Brozovic – £36m

Inter Milan are still trying to meet the wage demands of Marcelo Brozovic, but if they don’t, the Croatian midfielder won’t be short on options. Bayern Munich and Liverpool are ready to make a move, and it could happen as early as January.
6) Lorenzo Insigne – £43.2m

Napoli are bound to miss Lorenzo Insigne. Whether the pocket-sized forward will feel the same way remains to be seen. Based on how many clubs want him, we’d say the 30-year-old is probably excited about his next chapter. Everton, Newcastle, Chelsea and Inter Milan are all supposedly watching him.
5) Paulo Dybala – £45m

When was the last time you heard about Paulo Dybala leaving Juventus? If the answer is yesterday, we wouldn’t be at all surprised. With Antonio Conte in charge at Tottenham, it’s not outlandish to picture Dybala in North London.
4) Ousmane Dembele – £45m

Ousmane Dembele’s behavioural issues and injury troubles are well-documented. And yet there’s no doubting his abilities on the pitch. While things haven’t quite worked out as many had hoped for him at Barcelona, Newcastle and Liverpool remain interested in seeing if he has more luck in the Premier League.
3) Franck Kessie – £49.5m
? AC Milan could sell Franck Kessié in January if he doesn’t sign a new contract. His current deal runs out in 2022 and they don’t want to lose him on a free.

AC Milan have significantly benefitted from having Franck Kessie in the middle of the park. Unfortunately for them, it doesn’t appear as if it will last for much longer. Manchester United, PSG and Barcelona are all sniffing around, with the French giants leading the charge.
2) Paul Pogba – £54m

Paul Pogba leaving Manchester United on a free has felt inevitable for a while now. With only a few months left to go until it potentially happens, we expect to see a parade of clubs throwing their name into the hat – including PSG and Juventus.
1) Kylian Mbappe – £144m
Kylian Mbappé made his 300th first-team appearance for club and country last night, in which time he’s scored 190 goals, won 4 league titles, 7 domestic trophies, the 2017 Golden Boy award & 1 World Cup.

The PSG star is one of the best players in world football and that much. After much speculation, it looks like he’s going to leave. His destination is predictable. Real Madrid are the suitors waiting in the wings to bring him to the Bernabeu,
