Ric Flair’s Last Match takes place as part of the Starrcast V event tonight – here’s all you need to know about the event, including the UK start time.
Flair, who is now 73 years of age, will pull the curtain on his near 50-year professional wrestling career at Starrcast V. He will team up with real-life son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to take on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Tennessee.
There have been legitimate concerns over the match going ahead, due to Flair’s age and health issues. He is fitted with a pacemaker, and also takes blood thinning medication. In addition, he has been dealing with a foot injury going into the match.
Still, the match itself has attracted a large live audience. It was reported back in May that tickets for the event had sold out in just 24 hours. WWE star Charlotte Flair will be in attendance, whilst there have been events taking place along the weekend featuring former WWE stars Bret Hart, Bryan Danielson, Torrie Wilson and Paige.
