Former wonder kid, Freddy Adu has urged Manchester United to push out all the stops to sign American star, Sergino Dest.
Upon his arrival at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag, made it his mission to drag ‘The Red Devils’ back to the pinnacle of the sport. And to do that, he signed a plethora of big-name players. But while he secured the services of the likes of Casemiro and Antony, he failed to bag his dream right-back.
After the board blocked the move, and the 22-year-old ended up on loan at AC Milan. However, United’s Dutch manager hasn’t given up on signing his former Ajax player, with a move looking possible for January.
And the MLS’ youngest ever goal scorer, believes that his countryman could do great things at the Theatre of Dreams.

Freddy Adu backs Sergino Dest for Manchester United success
Throughout his career, Dest has impressed Adu with his attacking prowess, all-around defensive play and strength in possession. And during an interview with, Offers.Bet, he revealed why the prospect has the minerals to make it in the Premier League.
He said: “I think he’d be a great signing for Man U – the way he plays, he’s so good in his position, and with the current state of Manchester United right now, they need as many good players as they can get. The team isn’t exactly the Manchester United that we have come to know. They’re still playing well and they’ve got better and playing better, but they are far from the Manchester United that we come to remember. I hope he does go there as I think he would help the team out a lot.”
