Ibrahimovic has been involved in the making of the movie, which was largely filmed in Sweden and Amsterdam, in order to get the most realistic portrayal of what it was like for him to grow his legend across the last two decades.
We all know there are many football fans out there who still haven’t warmed to Zlatan or his antics. Still, even if you absolutely loathe the guy, there’s no denying the impact he’s been able to have on the beautiful game.
On the pitch he’s one of the strongest, most diverse goalscorers of his generation – and off of it, we’re not so sure there are many players who can claim to have a bigger personality.
Dominic Andersson Bajraktati and Granit Rushiti have been cast to play Ibrahimovic at different stages of his life with Mino Raiola, his friend and agent, being played by Emmanuele Aita.
In the real world many of us are waiting to see what Zlatan is going to do next at this stage of his career but in a fictional sense, there’s real intrigue behind this movie as fans wait for its official cinematic release on September 10 of this year.
