The Undertaker names the Superstar he wants to return to WWE

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has named the Superstar he wants to see return to the company in the future.

Throughout his time in WWE, The Undertaker has witnessed many of the company’s best-ever stars. Hulk Hogan, John Cena, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and The Rock all had memorable clashes with ‘The Phenom’. He spent over 30 years as an active performer with the company.

His famous WrestleMania streak spanned 21 victories over the likes of Ric Flair, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Brock Lesnar ended it.

The mere presence of all the names above shows what impact The Undertaker had on wrestling. He also helped to develop it into what it is today.

The Rock called his contemporary “the most athletically gifted big man to ever wrestle”.

Legendary WWE manager Paul Heyman, meanwhile, described ‘The Phenom’ as “the conscience of the WWE locker room“.

Following his in-ring retirement in 2021, The Undertaker was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame before this year’s WrestleMania. He thanked many of his fellow wrestlers and WWE chairman Vince McMahon. He also uttered the words, “Never say never,” when the crowd began to chant for him to have one last match.

McMahon, meanwhile, read out some of the names that The Undertaker took on at WrestleMania. And ‘The Phenom’ wants one of his previous opponents to return to the company.

The Undertaker picks out one wrestler he wants to return to WWE

Speaking at the WrestleMania AXXess event, The Undertaker urged one ex-WWE star to make a comeback.

He stated: “Bray Wyatt. I hope things get worked out with him somewhere.

“He is a phenomenal talent, and I think he has a lot to offer this industry. I want to wish the best for him.

“Hopefully, at some point, he returns home.”

Undertaker and Wyatt faced each other at WrestleMania 31. ‘The Phenom’ won the match after executing two Tombstone Piledrivers on his opponent.

Why did Bray Wyatt leave WWE?

Bray Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31, 2021. At the time, they gave no reason for his departure from the company. Reports suggested that budget cuts was the explanation. However, further details from Fightful Select claimed that this wasn’t the case.

During his time in WWE under the dual Bray Wyatt/’The Fiend’ characters, the American established himself as one of the company’s most popular Superstars.

He was a three-time world champion in WWE. In fact, Wyatt held the Universal Championship as recently as August 2020. That added another element of shock to his release.

Since he departed from WWE, Wyatt has not appeared for another company. That has raised hopes that he could return one day.

Shortly before WrestleMania 38, Wyatt announced on Instagram that he was in Dallas – the event’s host city. That led many fans to speculate on whether he would be making an appearance. However, that proved not to be the case.

Fans will now hope that, following The Undertaker’s comments, ‘The Fiend’ will make a return to WWE.
